His Professional Story……
Anthony P. Madonna Jr., graduate of Hofstra University, MBA in Taxation and St. John’s University, BS in Accounting has been involved in the Construction and Real Estate industry for over 25 years. Anthony began his career as a staff accountant with a Long Island CPA firm now known as WeiserMazars. He rapidly became a manager in the firm handling their major construction and development companies such as the Trump Organization.
Anthony became a NYS Certified Public Accountant on March 20, 1989. Soon thereafter, began his own accounting firm specializing in his niche Construction and Real Estate. The firm was very successful for over 15 years. Anthony’s love for consulting and advising clients grew stronger and stronger. So strong that he decided to sell his practice and entered the field of consulting full time.
The decision was easy to join Accordant, its’ business philosophy “creating harmony between business, people and technology” was a cornerstone of his belief. Anthony’s strengths of analyzing companies financially and operationally have led to many successful implementations and enhanced his customer’s business efficiency and profitability. He is continuously relied on for his financial expertise. The development of strong relationships with our client’s staff through patience and understanding is a testament to his belief. Anthony is currently certified in the three major CRE products; Sage 300 CRE; Sage 300 Trade Specialty; Sage 100 Contractor.
His Personal Story……
As an Italian American, Anthony grew up in Brooklyn, New York for the early part of his life where he met his wife Debbie, now married for 25 years. They moved to Long Island, New York soon after the birth of their first child. Anthony and Debbie have three children now all attending college. While his children were young he actively participated in their activities, coaching soccer, baseball and constantly involved with their scholastic activities. He is very active in his family life and has always put them number one on his priority list. Anthony loves to watch his local sports teams, even though most of his favorite teams hardly ever win. We will let you guess which ones they are.
