The much-anticipated 2025 Release 2 is coming on May 9th. This release is packed with new features, including the postponed retirement of Receive a Payment in the Accounts Receivable module based on user feedback. Here are the key highlights.
Authenticate And Validate Your Custom Domain Before May 2025!!!
As we reported in the last release, if you email documents out of Intacct, you must authenticate and validate your domain to avoid potential email delivery issues. As Sage transitions fully to using the enhanced email delivery service, all customers must authenticate and validate their domain.
Why we are excited about this: By doing this, the chances of your emails to your customers and vendors being marked as spam greatly decrease. In addition, your domain will be protected from phishing and other fraudulent attacks.
Note: Your Intacct administrator will need to work with your email administrator to set this up. If you have not already done so, it is imperative that you do this ASAP!
Receive A Payment Retirement is Postponed
Since 2020, Intacct has been telling us that they are retiring Receive a payment. With the last release, we were told the expected retirement date of this feature. Users have spoken, and the retirement date has been postponed while Sage makes additional enhancements to Receive payments – New!
Time And Expenses Split Into Two Applications
Now, the module Time and Expenses will be two different modules. This update makes finding and navigating features easier, resulting in a more seamless experience with Sage Intacct.
Why we are excited about this: Finally, there is a separation between Time and Expenses, allowing for increased security in both.
Note: If you were previously subscribed to the Time and Expenses application, you will now be subscribed to both.
Updates For Sage Fixed Assets (SFAM)
Sage continues to make improvements with the new SFAM product. This release contains several new features.
Why we are excited about this: We have all been waiting for the transfer of assets between entities and a roll forward report. New page enhancements allow the SFAM product to have the same functionality as every module in Intacct.
Updates For Canada
There are two big enhancements for Canada:
- Support for Canadian Sales Tax in French
- Custom discounts can be used with Canadian Sales Tax
Why we are excited about this: These features continue to improve the Canadian users’ experience.

Enhancements To Sage Intacct Construction Payroll
Sage is continuously improving Sage Intacct Construction Payroll with new features and enhancements to support construction businesses better. Below is a list of the latest updates included in this release.
- Easily access payroll setup information in the Intacct setup pages
- Approved timesheets can be sent directly to Construction Payroll Improved visibility on the Timecards page
- Improved automated checks on timecards to ensure validity
- Improved check stub information
- Expanded data syncing between Construction Payroll and other Intacct applications
Why we are excited about this: Sage continues to listen to the users and enhance the Construction Payroll product.
Updates To Construction
There are several significant updates to Construction:
- Enhanced support for smart events and smart rules on compliance records
- Generate lien waivers for secondary vendors
- New primary document details tab on Purchasing transactions
- Ability to duplicate task mapping for time and materials project contract lines
- Ability to select Post & continue when working in the Project change order

Enhancements To Real Estate
Sage Intacct Real Estate adds property management functionality to Sage Intacct. Sage is also continuing to strengthen and enhance this product with several updates:
- Move the property feature to better organize property records
- Improvements in the calculation of interest on security deposits
- New straight line rent feature to automatically calculate an equalized payment amount
Why we are excited about this: These updates offer a lot to explore, and we’re genuinely excited about the new features and what they mean for our users.
